Unmarked Ground, 2026
Video essay, short film & multi-channel installation

Unmarked Ground examines what it means to live without a fixed sense of belonging in a time where movement, migration, and displacement are increasingly common.
It began as a video essay, later developing into a short film and an ongoing multi-channel installation. While rooted in personal experience, it reflects a broader condition in which home is no longer tied to a single geography.
Identity forms across locations, languages, and emotional states. You exist in between, physically present but mentally elsewhere. The question shifts from where we belong to how we are shaped through constant movement.
Rather than focusing on borders, the project turns toward the body. Gesture, breath, voice, and proximity become ways of searching for ground. If place cannot hold us, what can?
The installation extends this instability. Multiple timelines and perspectives unfold at once, resisting a single narrative.
What emerges is a state of becoming, where identity is continuously formed through movement, encounter, and change.
